CML Reynoldsburg

Columbus, Ohio | 2022

The Columbus Metropolitan Library, as part of a $137M, nine branch library building program, envisions a new, community-focused, state-of-the-art library for the City of Reynoldsburg. JBAD and Gund Associates of Boston, as design partners on the project, have created a site-specific response with a stacked, folded, elevated and layered structure that’s both complex and minimal. Located on a main corridor at the edge of the city and along an urban waterway, the design maximizes interior daylight and views, provides important outdoor public space and creates a modern, iconic civic image for the City of Reynoldsburg. Construction will begin in 2022.
